  • This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Antonia Jones completed medical school in 2004, was admitted as a RANZCOG fellow in 2017 and became a certified Gynaecological Oncologist (CGO) in 2021. She remains committed to the care of women with gynaecological cancer, from primary prevention through to surgery and transition into palliative care. She has been a reviewer for several journals (APJCO and ANZJOG), an organising committee member for the 4th Victorian Cancer survivorship conference in 2022, an OCA (Ovarian Cancer Australia) survivorship Resource Advisory Group member, a current examiner for the CGO exam committee and a CGO Curriculum review committee member and an ASCCP Committee member (Australian Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology). She is the surgical oncology lead for the RWH ERAS (Enhanced recovery after surgery) program as well as the Principle Investigator for TUBA-WISP II (TUbectomy with delayed oophorectomy as an alternative to risk-reducing salpingo-oophorectomy in BrcA-Women to assess Safety and Prevention) and Pre-ANVU (Assessment of accuracy of high-resolution groin ultrasound as a non-invasive alternative for identifying vulvar cancer spread to lymph nodes) at Mercy Hospital. She works full time in public practice between Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg and The Royal Women’s Hospital in Parkville and she enjoys research (preferably reading other people’s), eating deep fried carbohydrates and trying to avoid parenting her exhausting children.
